Born on April 19, 1995, Morgan-Paige Melbourne began her journey with the piano at the tender age of 3 beginning her studies with the Music for Young Children program in Huntsville, ON. Moving to Guelph with her family at age 5, she continued her studies in Suzuki piano and then graduated to Conservatory music. At the age of 7, Morgan held her first solo recital for family and friends. By the age of 11, she performed on the local radio station Magic 106.1 FM for a Christmas special at the Guelph Youth Music Centre.

Morgan has competed in numerous classes in the Kiwanis Music Festivals of Guelph, Stratford, North York, Toronto and Ottawa. She has received top awards including the Miriam Russell Trophy in Stratford in 2013, the Trophy donated by Pupils of Sybil Pink Grobba in Ottawa in 2015, as well as performing at the “Highlights of the Festival” concerts in Stratford and Guelph. She is a four-time provincial finalist in the Ontario Music Festival Association placing in the top 6 in her category for Diploma level piano in 2013. 

In May 2010, Morgan had the opportunity to perform at Government High School in Nassau, Bahamas to showcase the influence of music in life. She also performed in London, ON, Toronto and Brampton for Black History Month events. Morgan will be preparing for upcoming concerts with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra.

Since the completion of her A.R.C.T. (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music) Piano Performance Program in 2014, Morgan now works as a volunteer librarian for the Guelph Symphony Orchestra. She is also the director and conductor of her church community choir. In addition, Morgan is currently working towards her L.R.C.M. (Licentiate of the Royal Conservatory of Music) Diploma with great aspirations of becoming a professional concert pianist.
